WJ & Co. over at the Bangsar Shopping Centre have announced that they will be hosting John Lobb for their inaugural By Request Fair on the 29th and 30th of July 2017. The By Request service offers interested folks the freedom to create their own unique pair of John Lobb handmade shoes or boots, specific to their personal style.
Appointments are available from 10AM - 7PM on both Saturday and Sunday. There will not be any By Request fees charged during the By Request Fair. This is a made to measure affair most likely. Good enough for most of us actually. Use this service to create your own unique pair from John Lobb's 100 over archived styles in various types of leather.
The John Lobb brand is one of the best shoe brands around. The ones here are by John Lobb Paris, owned by Hermes and are actually a separate entity from the John Lobb family owned affair located on St. James St. London. The St. James shop are even more traditional and actually offer more bespoke or custom fittings. The ones we get from John Lobb Paris are already sublime in my opinion.
I must say that I am actually quite glad that WJ & Co. has managed to convince many brands to conduct their trunk shows here in Kuala Lumpur. It is like a void that has been filled up by them.
