MINI Malaysia will be presenting a new Capsule Collection headlined as the MINI FASHION FIELD NOTES at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2018 (KLFW 2018). This is the first time ever MINI Malaysia is doing so and this is a somewhat of a continuation of sorts for their recent feature at the Pitto Uomo 94 men's fashion and lifestyle fair held recently (pic below).
The collection is a unique collaboration between MINI and The Woolmark Company. Woolmark is one of the world’s most recognised and respected brands in textile and fashion - a sign of quality wool, and sometimes more than just that.
The innovation and design ethos of both brands weave together emotionally intelligent designs that appeal to the core of the “Urban Traveller” – an explorer who embraces travel as a personal crossing of borders, from one feeling, one culture, one perspective to another.
The theme of the exhibition is called "Transcending Borders”. The 16-piece limited-run collection combines the creative forces of four names in the international fashion scene – Liam Hodges (United Kingdom), Staffonly (China), PH5 (USA) and Rike Feurstein (Germany). The up-and- coming designers drew on their individual travel experiences in diverse cities around the world, translating personal memories into fashion pieces using the finest Merino wool.
