Warm weather wear - A breakdown

.

.I wore this earlier today.

1. A button down shirt sans jacket. When the weather is hot and very, very humid. I have mentioned that the shirt becomes outerwear when the heat and humidity becomes intolerable. Sleeves are rolled three times. Neatly and pushed up slightly to the elbow. The shirt has to be 100% cotton (or linen) obviously - only natural fibers make sense when it comes to shirting.

2. Suspenders or Braces. They hold up the trousers without the bunching up in the middle like how belts do. It creates a cleaner silhouette than if you had a belt dividing you in the middle.

3. Suspenders also work on high waisted trousers like these better than a belt would.

4. High waisted trousers or pants actually help make the proportions of chubby people (like me) better. It elongates the legs and shortens the torso a little. It also hides the stomach a little better. It also does not make you have a super long torso and short legs like some of those super low waisted trousers. So wear high waisted or something that has a normal trouser rise. Again, it is all about proportions.

5. The tailored trousers are cut to the ankle without any break or creases in them. The weather is hot and humid. It actually makes some sense to keep things that allow some circulation.

6. No socks with woven leather loafers.

7. It is all about breathability. The humidity gets to you especially during this hot season.
