Rolls-Royce's latest generation of the iconic Phantom arrives in Malaysia, redefining elegance and timeless luxury as well as being the pinnacle of automotive excellence. The exclusive launch event took place at Glasshouse @ Seputeh yesterday. This is the Phantom Series II.

My Blucher Mocs get new Vibram soles

The pair of Blucher mocs that I bought in 2017 have had their soles replaced recently. The soles basically wore out sometime in 2022 and I've  stored the shoes so that I can get them repaired at a later date. And that later date was a few weeks ago.

Most likely because I feel that I have already said what needs to be said and there are not much else to say. And in terms of reviewing stuff I've bought, I have so much stuff that are merely repeats...like more watches or shoes or shirts...etc. Sometimes, you don't have the mood to write about another watch, shoes etc. It does get to you.

The Pair of Ferragamo Shoes That Had Disintegrated Soles Have Been Repaired

I am back for a short article folks! I have been busy with my Motoring Malaysia blog and its YouTube channel. We have been testing lots of cars over there and if you like cars, trucks and buses you should head over there. But here is a follow up post on the pair of Ferragamo shoes that basically died due to its rubber sole deteriorating. I've got them fixed.

Two of the nicer, high street ready to wear stores in and around Kuala Lumpur are by Massimo Dutti and Sacoor Brothers. Both are European in origin, with Massimo Dutti being Spanish (and part of the group which owns ZARA) and Sacoor Brothers from Portugal. Both brands have only been around Malaysia for less than a decade but have made their mark with a lot of people who seek clothes that are more classically styled instead of being following the trends.

Repaired Ferragamo shoes, Ferragamo lines explained and on shoe repair in KL

I've just got back my pair of Ferragamo penny loafers from the cobbler located at the Ikano Power Centre in Mutiara Damansara. The shoes are the usual stuck on/ glued constructed type with the rubber/p.u composite  that Ferragamo makes a ton of money selling. I say makes tons of money as they will eventually crack after some years. I got these in 2008 I think (too many shoes...I don't remember exactly) and sometime in October 2014 the soles cracked. Still a good seven or so years before they did so.

Happy Merdeka Day. That's Happy Independence Day to those that do not understand Malay. Malaysia celebrates fifty seven years of independence today, well, with the small note that Sabah and Sarawak joined us a few years later in 1963. Anyway, the ride from 1957 to 2014 has been exciting hasn't it?
